Also, check out Ohio. They passed an state constitutional amendment against gerrymandering. They Republicans drew up very biased maps. The courts threw the maps out. The Republicans refused allow new ones to be drawn. Right now they have no legal districts.

Also, the Dems are trying, but the new Supreme Court is a "states rights" court. Much like the court was in 1876, when they allowed the Jim Crow laws to stand.

There was a good chance that even if the two crazy Dems voted FOR the new Voitng Rioghts Act, the court would have thrown it out.
