America has always had two competing meanings about what “freedom” means.

The ones you call the “dreamers,” think freedom is to be able to say what you want, think what you want, have your own lifestyle, equality under the law, and in every part of life — with a government that protects and ensures those freedoms.

The other group sees “freedom” as the Capitalist manifesto. They want to be able to make money anyway possible. That’s why many immigrants come here, because of the American entrepreneurial spirit. They don’t want any government interference, and they don’t want to pay what they earned in taxes.

The second group took power under Reagan, and kept taking more power. Until Trump, under pressure from the Dems, they would give enough crumbs to the middle calls and poor because they needed them to work for $10 an hour. But Trump doesn’t like poor people, immigrants or minorities. He doesn’t like regulations or taxes. All he cares about is power, money and corruption. 40% of Americans were fine with that, at least until now, when he demonstrated that he is just a madman. Now it's just under 30%.
