Bad guys? What do you mean bad guys?

Well, maybe there are a few things we need to overlook, such as how we Europeans treated the people who were here when we got here, how we imported slaves, kept them slaves, and fought to keep them slaves. Then we stole the land from Mexico, expect they were just as bad.

What about Cuba? The Philippines? and more recently, Vietnam, Iran, Iraq, Chile, Nicaragua, Mexico, Yemen, Mississippi… I’m sure I’m missing a few. I see your point.

My disagreement is that we are not the only bad guys, and there are several out there that are worse than us, and they will do us harm if we let down our guard. Sure, if we could, I would be happy to get rid of nation-states and find bigger, better ways for the peoples of the world to act together. I’m sure we now have the technology and skills to do that. We could feed, house, and eliminate diseases for 90% of the world if we had a belief in cooperation.

Go do it! Work for it. I’ll send you $25 if you have a plan, just like I sent to Biden.

To get there we need to build a foundation of sanity and stability. We are not going to defeat hyper-capitalism and war with another war:

But keep on working for a peaceful movement from the ground up. I’m all for it.
