Beware of doing therapy. Sure, act like a therapist, people love to have a therapist, but doing therapy might actually make them better.

I have colleagues, my age, 74, who are still in practice, and they are still practicing on the same twenty people they have been seeing for thirty years.

If you want to try something interesting, try seeing people who can only afford therapy by using their insurance. You won’t get paid as much, but you can help them make some changes and then move on to new people. You will never have enough time to see everyone. Your job will be more interesting, and you may feel satisfaction every time someone gets better and leaves.
