But insects were a bother weren't they. no one will miss them even though they were food for the birds, spiders ,and frogs, who were food of the larger animals, and on up the food chain. But those animals are disappearing also because their habitats are now too warm or paved over.

Up here on Cape Cod I can already swim in the bay. Usually the water isn't warm enough until August. But now I get an extra month to bob up and down in the little waves. Of course, by the time my grandchildren inherit this house it may be under water. But right now...
