But really, it isn't Trump any more. It's the elected Republicans that are silent.

Where are the Republicans in Congress?

The current group of Republicans are avoiding their responsibilities as legislators.

The stalled negotiations on the next Covid “bail-out” package are not being negotiated by any Republicans in Congress. Even McConnell is hiding from making decisions, mostly because he can’t get his party to agree.

America needs money to prevent more poverty and evictions. It needs money for schools and Covid testing. But the negotiations are being done by the Secretary of the Treasury, and the President’s Chief of Staff, neither of whom are elected officials, Neither are responsible to anyone other than the President. Our current President, the great deal-maker, has now shown repeatedly that he has no idea how to negotiate a deal, but he is very good at breaking them.

Meanwhile, he Republicans in Congress are investigating the fake Russian claim the Ukrainians were involved in our election. Do we have a Congress or a Duma?
