By now, many people have noticed that so many of the things DeSantis does are modeled on things that Putin has done. He has signed laws that suppress the vote and limit the ability of Black people to vote. He now has his own police force to monitor elections. He has taken stances against LBGTQ people. He has passed laws that intimidate protesters. He has pushed his illogical views about science and medicine that defy logic. He does that to maintain control of what kind of information is acceptable in Florida. His version of government is to let the selfish, greedy, and racist operate in his state without regulation or limitation, as long as they are loyal to him.

For many reasons, it is unsafe to live in Florida, and it will get worse.
