Emotionally, I am disappointed that the possibility of some kind of life on Venus again seems very unlikely. It was an exciting idea to think that some kind of organism, something very different from what would be on Earth, could find a way to exist.

It also highlights how special it is to find life on Earth. But upon reflection, life of Earth is not that easy or that stable.

But again, this is a good example of how science works. Everything needs to be tested and verified. As you have said, we really know so little about what is out there and how things work. We should never get over that.
