I was leading a course for a few weeks so I was not following the publication closely. Now it’s gone. I fear that my last post was the one that sent you over the edge. It’s amazing how difficult, confusing and conflictual almost everything has become. When you try to do something out of idealism and commitment it becomes overwhelming and people expect even more. The world is crumbling and Politically Speaking gave voice to many attempts to hold it together. But it’s unhealthy to keep screaming down a drainpipe and expecting the world to change. Yet, it was often enlightening, entertaining, and even inspiring to read some of the posts on your site. I’m sure you will recuperate and soon find another way to help set the country and the world on a better path. I’ll miss you.
