I don’t have any exact numbers, but I would say that about 20% of the US population won’t get vaccinated, is in favor of buying coal to keep energy costs low, doesn't care that the entire west coast will be burning while the mid-west will be torn apart by tornadoes, and the Gulf states will lose their beaches and some of their coastal cities to the rising tides.
50% of the people are waiting for Spiderman to make things right, and the other 30% are still shaking their heads saying WTF happened.
Solutions are complex and they depend upon people working together and sacrificing. That only happens when enough, say 67% of the people agree that the problem needs to be fixed. We are not close to that yet.
