I guess it takes more of a break out effort for many women, especially attractive ones, to realize that they should always be in control of their bodies, and that they should do, or not do, whatever they want. Maybe in that way, getting to older is helpful, as you have learned to define who you are and who you are not.
But, I have little sympathy for people who complain about being 42. You can talk and dance without pain. You can hear well, and see clearly, The odds of you having your life limited by cancer, Parkinson’s, MS, arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, breathing problems, neuropathies, and all kinds of other chronic things that you never heard of are still small.
Wait until you reach 75, everything changes. Perhaps, in the 33 years year until you get there, there will be easier treatments for all of those things. Until then, stay happy, stay healthy, don’t do anything you don’t want to do, but don’t do anything too stupid either.
