I guess that frees Trump, because he is too much of a coward to actually lead the charge himself. But clearly, he is the one who instigated this, and he and his son, Giuliani, and several members of Congress boomed out the attack orders.

Really, this is not political. Impeachment is unnecessary. Trump should be arrested immediately, by whoever has jurisdiction, the FBI or the DC police. Many of the others who stormed the Capital can plead that they were just following orders from the President.

Cruz, Graham, Hawley and the others who supported Trump’s crimes for years should at least be censured for undermining the Constitution and violating their oaths of office. The ones who actively encouraged the raid should be expelled.
