I know you are just making a list here, but the education gap is really much worse than you describe. In many places, mostly in the South, but not entirely, Brown vs. Board of Ed made segregation and the quality of schools worse. White people abandoned the public school, stuck heir kids in private, Christian schools, and then wouldn’t vote to fund the public schools now had almost only Black kids. Most of those schools do not educate.

You also said that you would let the rich folk continue to pay for their kids to go to private schools. If I could have two wishes for America, the first would be to abolish private schools, and that every school get equal funding and the districts be drawn so that every school would contain the diversity of a hundred mile radius, more if needed. If that happened America would be a fantastic place to live after 25 years.

That would then lead to my second wish, which would be to do the same thing to housing and workplaces.

My third wish would be that Damian Lillard would come and play for the Celtics now.
