I too really enjoyed Summer of Soul. But it made me very sad, as we need all that energy and more to combat the backlash that has unfolded because Black voters finally did get organized, did flex their power, and did turn the election.

They also began to deal with the justice system and the police. But the old, white, power structure wants to wipe that all away.
