It also seems as if most rich, white, Republicans do not have to abide by laws. They feel free to intimidate local officials. They do not have to respond to Congressional subpoenas, or even to Federal subpoenas. They feel free to attempt to overturn an election, and then get angry at anyone who feels that sedition is against the law. They can send their own set of electors to Congress, even from states where they lost the election.

Rules, laws, traditions, norms, even democracy, have no meaning for them. They are greedy, power-hungry, and have no shame about any of it.

So far, ther have been no consequences for the leaders who lie, cheat, and provoke vilence.
