It is difficult to weed out Blue Devils when you live in a comfortable, 90% White community. Those devils know who holds the power. They see their job as protecting us from THEM. They are very sweet and deferential to us.

It’s not just that Black people often get severely punished for minor offenses, it is also true that most white people get away with major offenses, and they expect to. Those people who stormed the Capitol thought they were immune from punishment. They had no fear of, or concern for, the police. Those were the good cops who were set up to be cannon fodder for Trump’s attacking legions.f
