It seems that if there isn’t a video of a cop shooting someone, then it doesn’t happen. Except it does, and it always has here in America.

I think it was @Faith Briggs, here on Medium, who pointed out how systematic racism has been part of America from the beginning. So does Jill Lapore in her book We Hold These Truths. So do all the Black people I know. I just have to ask them “what happen to you recently?”

“A well regulated militia” was formed to keep the peace, fight Indians, and keep the slaves from rebelling. That seems to be part of their purpose today. But I mean, who gets threatened by a big Black man jogging after a group of white women?

I guess most white men. That’s what the NRA is always selling.
