It’s 2023. As I write this the gun-toting House Republicans have just succeeded in creating chaos even before they get in office. From what I can tell, there is still a sizable percent of the Republican Party that only stands for cruelty, greed, and racism.

But people seemed to have taken notice in the last election. The Republicans took control of the House mostly due to gerrymandering. It may be, that along with Trump, their ideas and influence are fading.

Still, it will be two years before we can get an assault weapons bad through Congress.
