It’s true that too many of our political leaders are well past the age when they should have become mentors and advisors, or died. However, if it were not for the now departing Nancy our ship would have sunk a decade ago.

But part of the responsibility rests with the fact that two generations have spent their political capital online getting sucked down into rabbit holes of distorted truths, or adolescent jabs on Twitter. So many people loved Obama but didn’t pay attention to state and local politics and thus we have 25 states that are totally gerrymandered by Republicans.
