Most of the media, even the ones that attempt to tell us what is really happening, are owned by big corporations who want to keep their readers and viewers coming back. They also don’t want much regulation or to pay much in taxes. Still, some of them are trying to let us know they “why” behind the “what.”

However, it mostly the educated elites who keep up with those sources, and everyone knows that the educated elites are a bunch of commie-fascists, even if it is a contradiction in terms.

I am in Florida for a brief visit. Some of the news is about how Jacksonville schools have banned books about Jackie Robinson and Roberto Clemente. It’s hard to find the coverage of the fact that thousands of the people who lost their homes to hurricane Ian still have no place to live. Ian is old news.
