Our now favorite Republican, Liz Cheney, has said that the committee is going to hold a few weeks of public, televised hearings early in 2022. The committee already has more than enough material, in documents, texts, phone messages, and direct testimony from more than 200 other people. This subpoenas are put out there to show who is a coward, and who is running away.

Some of the most revealing sources are the people who were on Mike Pence’s staff. They saw and heard it all. And Pence, one of the world’s most spectacular ass-kissers, is eager to knock Trump over so he can run for president. He will look like the defender of the Constitution, which he was for a few brief moments. And maybe he secretly didn’t like the idea of getting hanged by Trump supporters.

And MAYBE, what shows up on TV will lead to actual indictments for sedition. MAYBE.
