Somehow, the fates, genetics, fame, and social prejudices have given you life a winding road of life, full of emotional highs and lows. Hang-in there, roll thought it.

Expecting that the baseball industry, which still has lots of the plantation mentality they had when your father played for them, to not be afraid of differences is unrealistic.

(Also, I was there when your father destroyed the Red Sox in ’67, even an HR. I was impressed but broken hearted). Your father must have been good friends with Bill Russell, who from a distance, seemed to have a similar personality and views about race.
