Still, governments need to function with the in-put from the governed or else the fanatics, the power hungry, and the cruel take over by force, and install corruption and oppression. That leads to collapsing states and ruined economies.

I certainly agree that the current state of US politics are a mess. Perhaps we should follow the political savant Dave Volek and find a new way. If not, then you can either drop-out and hide, or start to build your own community and work up from there.

The world is complex, with many interacting problems that are not being addressed because governments cannot work together. Maybe you should find a way to start problem solving groups and write about that.
