The only thing Putin has going for him is cruelty. His army shows what happens when everyone is corrupt: they take the money for themselves.

Now, many small countries are not afraid of Russia. They see how corruption leads to incompetence.

All Putin can do is threaten more meaningless killing. At some point the world will say enough and threaten his existence.
