The world has retreated from democracy in too many places. Putin has certainly disrupted the US elections, and now obviously had a lot to do with getting Trump into power.

The loss of freedom has to be fought on every front. But Belarus, Brazil, India, and Myanmar, show that most of these dictators really don't care much about the people the rule. The US has to find a way with all of our allies to cripple their economy and remove them from participation with the rest of the world. Russia will have to support them, but their resoruces are limited.
