There is a great deal of smoke and confusion to be endured before the new reality takes shape. Trump will do his best to sell the myth that he was robbed. Also, in his infantile ways, he will smash as many things in the government as possible. That may even include the desk in the oval office. The Republicans will forgive him, saying that is within his rights.

50% of Trump voters will wait for his reemergence. If he has rallies in Iowa, they will come. They are the racists, the assault weapon owners, and the truly confused.

If Fox still advocates for the rich and older industries, but not Trump, then the other 50% will be influenced by what happens to their lives during the Biden administration. If they get affordable healthcare, if the virus comes under control and the economy comes back, if the stock market rallies, if there is treatment for addictions, if their kids get to go to college, they will not miss Trump.

They will also discover that they enjoy not being so angry, and not having people be so angry at them. Life in the US should become easier, more fun and more interesting. Football stadiums will fill up, and music venues will hold concerts. No one in a high place will be demeaning people, punishing people and torturing children.

If Biden does things correctly, Trump will be left screaming into a drainpipe. He will also have to pay his taxes, his debts, and probably heavy fines. He may even go to jail for a while. Then he will find that there are not huge crowds of people waiting for his return.
