This is more than Trump et al not taking the virus seriously, this is wanton, intentional, disregard for anyone or anything that is not Trump.

That even includes the people who were still willing to meet with Trump and give him $250K for the privilege. He knew that he had been exposed. He either didn’t think about it, or didn’t care. Either way, much of what he did, including going to the debate, was criminal. He knowingly exposed people to a possibly fatal disease, without any precautions, or any warning.

This isn’t not just taking things seriously, in other countries this would be a crime. But here this is the Republican idea of “freedom.”
