Those at the top of the Republican Party, both for and against Trump, want to keep their power in order to keep their money. They spend some of that money to keep their power. The non-Trump Republicans spend their money on small lies, such as all Democrats are socialists and communist. The Trump supporters go for the Big Lies, such as Black votes don’t count, and any election they lose is rigged.

Everyone in the party knows very well that they represent, at best, about 42% of the population. But 75% of that 42% are either, resentful, greedy, racist, very confused, or choose to be deceived. Many are all of the above. There are also a large number of them do not fit that description, but they don’t seem to be able to cope with a life in the 21st Century. They are certainly frightened by changes in American demographics. They somehow view Trump as someone who will protect them. In doing so, they threaten the future of all of us.
