Those with power and money can see that the changes in the world are threatening their wealth and position. They are doing their best to stop necessary changes from happening, just so they can sail their yachts while societies crumble and die.

Trump and Putin are the clearest examples. There are now over 600 billionaires in the US. Most of them don't care either.
