Tryvon Martin was unarmed. When he didn't yield his freedom to a man who threatened him, the man, Zimmermen, felt he was a threat so he killed him. Zimmerman was aquitted.
Thirty states now have laws that seem to encourage everyone to carry a gun for their own protection.
It seems that they have given up the idea of living in a civilized society. What do these people need to protect themselves from? What idea of danger fill their heads? Who put those ideas there? For what purpose?
And that leads to the bigger question: who wants to live in a country like this, where people see other citizens with fear and suspicion? How does this make America great?
No one has explained that to me.
