Yes, Earth will survive for a few billion more years. Humans, by contrast, may or may not survive the next hundred years. The ones that do will probably be fewer in number and be a vaguely recognizable species, possibly being run by electronic add-ons or built-ins.

It’s a shame. Humans have developed a great intellectual capacity. They can analyze situations, define problems, and engineer solutions. Unfortunately, they have never developed the skills to get along with each other, especially in large groups. Instead, they seem to have perfected the ability to murder entire populations.
